An independent, clerk will produce a detailed, photographic report, containing a record of all the rooms, fittings and furnishings (if relevant) in the property, and their condition.

An Inventory Clerk meets with the tenant to go through the inventory report before the move in.

It is a detailed inspection of the property's condition at the end of the tenancy and compares it to the inventory report from the start of the tenancy.
The purpose is to identify any damages or changes beyond normal wear and tear, determine the tenant's responsibility for repairs or cleaning, and facilitate the return of the tenant’s deposit.
